What is CareCredit?
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card designed for your health, and wellness needs. It’s a way to pay for the costs of many treatments and procedures and allows you to make convenient monthly payments. CareCredit is accepted at over 200,000 providers nationwide for LASIK and Vision Care, Cosmetic and Dermatology Procedures, Dentistry, Veterinary, Hearing Care and other specialties. What can you use CareCredit credit card for?
Your CareCredit credit card can be used at over 200,000 locations nationwide for a variety of healthcare services including LASIK, veterinary, dentistry, cosmetic surgery, hearing care and more. Once you have CareCredit you can use it over and over (subject to credit approval) for you, your family, and even your pets – without reapplying, as long as you have available credit. How do I apply for a CareCredit credit card?
The easiest and fastest way to apply for CareCredit is to use this link. You will get the credit decision within seconds and, if approved, you can use your account right away.
You can also apply over the phone, toll free, at (800) 677-0718. If you choose to call, you can use our automated system 24/7 or you can apply with a live agent between 9:00am-9:00pm Monday-Friday, Eastern Time. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age to apply by phone. Applicants by phone must have written copy of the credit card agreement before proceeding, which can be printed from carecredit.com or they can obtain from their provider.
In addition, you can apply in person at more than 200,000 healthcare provider locations that accept CareCredit. We do not accept applications via fax or email.

Does my CareCredit credit card expire?
No, like any other credit card, as long as you are in good standing and you have available credit, you can use your CareCredit healthcare credit card anywhere the card is accepted. It is important to use your card at least once a year, however, in order to keep your account active.
